Training for End-Users

1st International Seminar and Workshop on Emerging Technology and Innovation for Cultural Heritage "Preservation of Parchment, Leather and Textiles", National Museum of Romanian History, Bucharest, Romania, 24-26 Sept 2012

The Training Programme has been organised on Sept 25th in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry and Department of Humanistic Studies, University of Turin (Italy), Optics Department, National Institute of Metrological Research, Turin (Italy) and COLLAGE project consortium and consisted in a half-day training course on the use of thermal microscopy (MHT method) and multispectral imaging for evaluating damage of parchment documents.

Young Researchers' Training

Volterra Summer School
Our colleague, Eng. Claudiu Sendrea from INCDTP-ICPI, took part in the Ampere Summer School on Analyzing Cultural Heritage using Portable Magnetic Resonance held in Volterra, Italy from 12-15 June 2013. This hands-on workshop is presented by scientists at RWTH Aachen University and the Pratt Institute.

Training School on Thermal Analysis
Our colleague, Cristina Carsote, PhD Student, took part in the Training School on Thermal Analysis: from Theory to Parctice organized within the 11th Mediterranean Conference on Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis, held in Athens, Greece from 12 to 15 June 2013.

A special Session of Technical Demonstrations devoted to illustrating for the benefit of scholars, archivists and librarians the results that has been gathered within the first year of the COLLAGE project has been scheduled within the Bilateral Collaboration Projects Joint Meeting. Participation in this Session is restricted to the COLLAGE end-users.
